About Us

Who We Are

The Muslim Business Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (MBAANZ) was formed in response to the growing need for a unified, national platform representing Muslim entrepreneurs and business leaders. We are a not-for-profit, member-led organisation that exists to uplift, connect, and advocate for Muslim business owners from all walks of life, while promoting values-based commerce rooted in Islamic principles.

MBAANZ operates with the belief that business success should be both profitable and purposeful. We believe in creating a community where Muslim entrepreneurs are equipped to thrive professionally while also contributing positively to the broader social and economic fabric of Aotearoa. We are committed to building intergenerational prosperity, reducing barriers to success, and empowering the next generation of Muslim business leaders.
